Nov. 30, 2000: TrackRack™ is formally introduced at the Performance Racing Industry trade show in Indianapolis through December 2; www.trackrack.com website goes online.

1999-2000: Several patents for the innovative TrackRack™ product are filed.

Sept. 18-20, 2000: Race engineer and MoTeC data acquisition consultant Claude Rouelle meets with Keaton Technologies, LC, president and founder, James E. Keaton, and other members of the TrackRack™ team, and he agrees to serve as one of two Motorsports consultants for the product introduction phase of TrackRack™

Mid-year 2000: Rigorous re-design of initial prototype under way.

May 1998-December 1999: TrackRack™ prototype is field tested with a variety of purpose-built and production-based cars at tracks like Watkins Glen, Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, and others.

Spring 1998: The first TrackRack™ prototype is used at the Phoenix International Raceway to prepare and service Keaton Motorsports' #92 car, which then goes on to win both weekend racing events.
