Nov. 30, 2000: TrackRack is formally introduced at the Performance Racing Industry trade show in Indianapolis through December 2; www.trackrack.com website goes online. 1999-2000: Several patents for the innovative TrackRack product are filed. Sept. 18-20, 2000: Race engineer and MoTeC data acquisition consultant Claude Rouelle meets with Keaton Technologies, LC, president and founder, James E. Keaton, and other members of the TrackRack team, and he agrees to serve as one of two Motorsports consultants for the product introduction phase of TrackRack Mid-year 2000: Rigorous re-design of initial prototype under way. May 1998-December 1999: TrackRack prototype is field tested with a variety of purpose-built and production-based cars at tracks like Watkins Glen, Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, and others. Spring 1998: The first TrackRack prototype is used at the Phoenix International Raceway to prepare and service Keaton Motorsports' #92 car, which then goes on to win both weekend racing events. |
